Delete your account

How to delete your Umami account, made by &friends, and what happens to your data.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Umami and sign in.
  2. Go to your profile.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Can't open the app?

Email help@andfriends.io from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm it and delete it within 30 days.

When it happens

Without a subscription, your account is deleted straight away. With an active Umami Pro subscription, deletion is scheduled for the end of the period you've paid for, and you can cancel it from your profile until then. Deleting your account doesn't cancel the subscription, so turn off auto-renew in the App Store or Google Play as well.

What we delete

  • Your account, name, email address and sign-in details.
  • Your Cookbook: saved recipes and creators.
  • Your settings, notification token and subscription link.

What we keep

  • Recipes converted from public videos stay in the shared recipe library, with nothing linking them to you.
  • Anonymous usage statistics that can't be traced back to you.
  • Apple and Google keep their own records of any purchases, under their own policies.
